RUSSIAN PRESIDENT EASES LOCKDOWN AS CASES COVID-19 INCREASES

Russian president Vladimir putin  ease coronavirus lockdown, business/work  to continue on tuesday 12/05/2020

president putin announced in a televised address, "that starting from may 12, national period of no working will be over for all sectors of the economy" and that individual regions will be able to in areas needed/

Russia currently has the third-highest number of confirmed cases worldwide.

in the last 24 hours Russia has recorded a daily rise of 11,656 cases with a total of 221,344 cases.

which means  Russia now has more confirmed cases than Italy and UK, only SPAIN and US have more recorded cases of covid-19.

It has been made known that a record of 2,009 people in Russia have died from the deadly virus. but some some question the low figure, and believe that the number is far larger.

He also said that large any means of celebration or large public event  still remain banned, and the need to follow "strict sanitation demands", but it's in every one's interest for the economy to return to normal quickly, he said, adding that construction and farming should be among the first industries to restart.

and  that the outbreak is far form over, as he warns saying that "anger remains"

"we must not allow a new wave of epidemic and the growth of serious complications", he said.

this address was made just few days before the president of Moscow, Sergei Sobyanin, extended the capital's lockdown to 31st of may.

In addition that construction and industrial workers must return to work in the city, and that everyone must wear face masks and gloves on public transport and in shops 

Residents are entitled to stay at home unless to shop or work and must have a digital permit to travel.
