TOTTENHAM MIDFIELDER: DELE ALLI ATTACKED BY BURGLARS


Tottenham and England midfielder Dele Alli, held at knifepoint by burglars 


the twemty-four year old midfielder currently playing for Tottenham, reported that two men broke into his house, in the early hours of Wednesday morning, where he is spending Lockdown with his brother and and their respective partners.

Alli was hit in the face during the process but has not sustained any any serious injuries.

The intruders stole numerous items from the building including jewelries and watches, a CCTV footage of the incident has been handed over to the police.

the 24-year old midfielder later posted on twitter, "thank you for all the messages.Horrible experience but we're all okay now, thanks for the support."

The metropolitan police statement said "police were called at approximately oo:35 BST on Wednesday 13 May with reports of a robbery at a residential address in Barnet.

Two males gained access to the property and stole valuable items of jewelries and including watches before they made a run for it, one of the male occupant of the property, in his 20s suffered a minor facial injuries in the process of the assault, though hospital treatment was not needed as it was just minor bruises.

"No arrests have been made.  More  enquiries  into the circumstances continues."

A  spurs spokesperson added, "We have been offering our supports to Dele and those isolating with him. We encourage anyone with any information to help the police in their investigation to come forward"


Earlier March 15 there was a reported case where Alli's spurs team-mate Jan Vertonghen was also robbed at Knifepoint
